Bula FC’s captain, Roy Krishna, is optimistic about the team’s future as they progress in the OFC Pro League, despite not securing a win in their first two matches. Currently positioned fifth out of eight teams, Bula FC has recorded a draw against a Vanuatu team and faced a narrow defeat of 1-0 against Auckland FC.

Krishna remains positive about the team’s journey and has observed notable improvements within the squad. He believes that the players are starting to grasp the playing style envisioned by their coach. “Just keep going, you know. We still believe, you know, it’s a long way. But we’re on the right track,” Krishna stated, expressing confidence in the team’s capabilities and their growing understanding of the coach’s strategy.

He commended his teammates for their resilience and determination, particularly in challenging moments when the score was not in their favor. Krishna also highlighted the overall enhancement of Fijian football over recent years, finding the evolution of the local game to be an encouraging sign for the sport’s future in the region.

Looking ahead, Bula FC is set to face Solomon Kings FC on Sunday at the Santos National Football Stadium in Papua New Guinea with kick-off scheduled for 7:30 pm. The team remains focused on learning and adapting, and with Krishna’s leadership, they are poised to continue their development on the field.
