Merekeleni Ratubaka from Mahatma Gandhi Memorial High School has once again demonstrated her remarkable talent by securing her second gold medal of the 2025 Coca-Cola Games, winning the open girls’ 3000 meters final. This achievement follows her victory in the 1500 meters on Day 1 of the championships.

In a competitive female field, Manaini Lewasariri of Wainimala Secondary School earned the silver medal, while Lusia Neneyawa from Thomas Baker Secondary School claimed bronze. Ratubaka’s continued success highlights the dedication and perseverance of the athletes competing at the event.

The boys’ 3000 meters final saw Serevi Tova of Nakasi High School clinch the gold medal, with Namokoli Savenaca from Natabua High School finishing with silver and Waisea Volavola of Levuka Public School taking the bronze.
