Aleeza Raza, a defender for Digicel Fiji Future Kulas, was awarded Player of the Match in Fiji’s narrow 1-0 victory over Solomon Islands during the playoff for fifth and sixth place at the OFC U-16 Women’s Championship, held at HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
At just 15 years old and born in Sydney to parents originally from Labasa, Raza showcased notable grit and determination throughout all four matches of the tournament.
Her family proudly cheered her on from the stands, celebrating her crucial plays that contributed to Fiji’s fifth-place finish in the competition.
