Rewa, the reigning champions, have strengthened their roster for the upcoming Flick Hygiene Pacific Cup by adding several key players. The Delta Tigers have brought in Solomon Islanders William Komasi and Javin Alick as guest players, along with New Zealand-based Sione Faapoi, Mohammed Ishtiaq, and Nasinu goalkeeper Emori Ragata.

Komasi and Alick will join fellow Solomon Islanders, striker John Orobulu and defender Stanton Alick, bolstering the team’s attacking and defensive capabilities. Young talents Neemish Prasad, Keni Cagi, Delon Shankar, Mervin Chand, and Asivorosi Rabo have also been included in the squad, adding fresh energy and skill.

The seasoned players, including Setareki Hughes, Tevita Waranaivalu, Ivan Kumar, Madhwan Goundar, Peniame Drova, Patrick Joseph, Iowane Matanisiga, and Epeli Valevou, are expected to lead the team’s efforts in navigating the challenges of the tournament successfully.

Rewa will kick off their campaign by facing the defending champions, the Auckland All Stars, in a highly anticipated match on the opening day at 7:30 PM.

This infusion of talent may give Rewa the competitive edge they need to maintain their championship status, making for an exciting tournament ahead. Fans can look forward to seeing how these new additions will blend with the existing squad to build on Rewa’s strong legacy in the Pacific Cup.
