The Sugar Cane Growers Fund has established a partnership with Allied Motors Pacific Ltd to enhance after-sales services for sugarcane growers. This collaboration will facilitate access to after-sales services for Case brand mechanical harvesters in key cane-growing regions.

The initiative is set to benefit over 10,260 sugarcane growers, who will now have access to special offers for tractors, machinery, and farming implements through Allied Motors. Fund Chief Executive Raj Sharma highlighted the Loyalty Card program, which allows these growers to access special rates. As of yesterday, 1,370 cards have already been distributed, and there are 15 partner organizations involved in this initiative.

This partnership builds on previous efforts by the Sugar Cane Growers Fund to support farmers, including a recent loyalty program that provides discounts at Vinod Patel outlets, making a variety of essential goods more affordable. These measures collectively aim to strengthen the economic position of sugarcane farmers in Fiji, allowing them to reduce costs and optimize their operations.

The focus of this latest collaboration reflects a commitment to uplift the agricultural community. By providing essential services and forging partnerships with reputable companies, the Sugar Cane Growers Fund is working towards improving the livelihood and sustainability of sugarcane farming in the region.

Overall, this initiative not only signifies a strategic development in enhancing agricultural services but also promises a positive impact on the community’s economy, fostering a spirit of cooperation between growers and service providers.
