Ravai noted, “Age is catching up, so I’m just going to let the young boys get a chance.” He sees the current focus of coaches on building a new team in preparation for the 2027 Rugby World Cup as a positive development for Fijian rugby. He affirmed his commitment to representing his country, saying, “If I do get selected, I will always say yes to representing my country.”
Returning to his roots, Ravai expressed joy at playing rugby in Fiji again, reflecting on how the atmosphere and the youthfulness of his teammates differ from his previous experiences in France. He remarked on the enthusiasm of younger players eager to make their mark in the sport, adding, “There are a lot of youngsters coming up and wanting to play the game.”
