A 23-year-old man from Raiwai has been arrested in connection with an aggravated robbery that took place in Raiwaqa earlier this morning. Police report that the suspect, along with two accomplices, allegedly assaulted a man who was waiting outside the Milverton Road Top Shop for a bus.
During the attack, the victim was robbed of his watch and $9 in cash. Following the incident, law enforcement was alerted, which triggered the formation of a search team dedicated to locating the suspects involved.
The arrested individual was found on Nairai Road and is currently undergoing questioning at the Raiwaqa Police Station. Authorities have confirmed that efforts to apprehend the remaining accomplices are ongoing, and investigations into the incident continue.
