Two men have been remanded following their arrest in connection with an aggravated robbery at Top Shop in Raiwai. The accused, 23-year-old Lagani Rabukawaqa and 25-year-old Saimoni Macedru, appeared before Magistrate Yogesh Prasad earlier today.

Both individuals face charges of aggravated robbery stemming from an incident that occurred last Sunday. Reports indicate that they allegedly attacked a 50-year-old man who was waiting for a bus, stealing nine dollars and a wristwatch from him.

The incident gained attention after CCTV footage was shared on social media, highlighting the seriousness of the crime. The case will be brought back to court on the 30th of this month for further proceedings. This situation serves as a reminder of the importance of community vigilance and the role of technology in enhancing public safety.
