Radisson Blu Resort Fiji has made a significant impact on local communities around Nadi by investing over $173,000 in various initiatives throughout 2025. This funding stems from the resort’s Responsible Business programme, which aligns with the Radisson Hotel Group’s global commitment to community wellbeing, sustainability, and inclusive growth.

A pivotal aspect of their efforts has been directed towards health and community care. Notable contributions include enhancements to Nadi Hospital, where the resort provided essential upgrades such as air-conditioning servicing, renovations to the women’s ward washrooms, new maternity furniture, and modern medical equipment for specialized wards.

In the realm of education, the resort has made generous donations of computers, laptops, projectors, books, and furniture to local kindergartens, primary, and secondary schools. They have also invested in critical infrastructure improvements, including water projects and walkways to bolster access and safety for students.

Moreover, Radisson Blu has shown strong support for grassroots sports in the region. They have sponsored uniforms, donated equipment, and provided food support for various sports such as rugby, football, cricket, touch rugby, and athletics, in addition to hosting community sporting events.

Environmental stewardship is another focus area for the resort, which has engaged in activities such as mangrove planting, community clean-up campaigns, and initiatives aimed at raising awareness about sustainability.

Charles Homsy, the Resort General Manager, stated that these initiatives reflect Radisson Blu’s deep-rooted connection with the communities it serves, a bond that remains strong thanks to the ongoing support from its guests.

Overall, the contributions made by Radisson Blu Resort Fiji indicate a promising partnership between the resort and local communities, paving the way for enhanced health, education, sports, and environmental conditions in the region.
