Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka has left Fiji for a ten-day state visit to China. During his absence, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Civil Aviation and Tourism Viliame Gavoka will serve as the acting Prime Minister. One of Gavoka’s initial responsibilities will be to chair the Cabinet meeting scheduled for tomorrow. He will continue in this role until August 21.
