Public Prosecutions Director Receives Sudden Revocation

Acting Director of Public Prosecutions John Rabuku will vacate his office at midnight tonight after receiving his letter of revocation earlier this week.

Rabuku confirmed he received the formal revocation letter from the Office of the President, informing him about the termination of his acting appointment.

He stated that he has already met with the Judicial Service Commission and received the President’s letter regarding the revocation, which takes effect from midnight.

Rabuku expressed gratitude to his dedicated staff and encouraged them to continue being steadfast and exemplary in their roles as prosecutors.
