Salesi Rayasi Leaves Hurricanes for French Club: What’s Next?

Outside back Salesi Rayasi has ended his tenure with the Hurricanes by signing a two-year contract with French club Vannes.

The winger departs the Wellington-based team after an impressive stint, having played 50 games.

At 27, Rayasi will lose his eligibility to play for the All Blacks due to his move to France.

However, Rayasi is considering the option of representing the Flying Fijians, embracing his heritage. His father, Filipe Rayasi, was a Fijian international who played fullback for the national team 13 times.
