Police are seeking the public’s help as they attempt to identify a woman’s body found in Wainibuku earlier this week. The police spokesperson, Ana Naisoro, confirmed that the victim remains unidentified at this time.

According to Naisoro, “Still yet to identify the victim, police are calling for public assistance.” The body was located near the riverbank and has been transported to the Mokani mortuary in Tailevu for further examination.

Ongoing investigations are unfolding, and authorities encourage anyone with pertinent information to come forward. Community engagement is crucial in advancing this investigation, highlighting the important role the public can play in assisting law enforcement.
