Forum Secretary General Baron Divavesi Waqa has emphasized the crucial role that aviation holds for the future of Pacific island economies, describing it not merely as a means of transportation but a vital lifeline for the region. Speaking at the 3rd Regional Aviation Ministers Meeting (RAMM3) in Suva, Waqa addressed aviation ministers from various Pacific nations and highlighted the importance of connectivity amid rising geostrategic competition and the looming challenges posed by climate change.
