Final asphalting operations on the Nausori-bound lane of the Rewa Bridge are set to take place overnight, according to the Fiji Roads Authority (FRA). The work will commence at 8 PM and conclude at 5 AM the following day. During this period, both lanes heading to Nausori will be closed between the Lelean and Wainibokasi roundabouts.
To facilitate continued traffic movement, the Suva-bound lanes will remain open. The FRA is advising motorists to adhere to all signage and follow instructions from traffic controllers to ensure a safe passage during the works.
It is important to note that the completion of these operations is subject to weather conditions, and there could be a possibility of postponement if the weather is unfavorable. The FRA is working diligently to improve road infrastructure and enhance safety for all road users.
