The Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) will host the OFC Men’s Champions League 2025, a change from the initial host, Fiji, due to venue unavailability. Key stadiums in Suva and Lautoka are booked for Fijian Drua matches, prompting the shift in location.

The tournament is scheduled to run from March 29 to April 13, with Honiara serving as the central hub for matches. Games will be held at the National Stadium and Lawson Tama Stadium, showcasing the best of regional talent.

The tournament draw is set for December 11, and it will feature eight teams from across Oceania, all vying for the prestigious title previously won by Auckland City. Representing Fiji in this competition will be Rewa, following their triumph in the Digicel Premier League this year.

This development presents an exciting opportunity for the Solomon Islands to showcase their football infrastructure and host international teams, fostering regional unity and sportsmanship. This shift could also ignite local passion for football, paving the way for future events in the islands.
