Defending champions Northpole FC from Labasa have successfully secured their spot in the final of the Dayal’s Sawmillers National Club Championship, where they will face off against Ba’s 4R FC later today. Northpole clinched their place in the final after a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Rewa’s combined side, Verata FC, in their final pool match yesterday.

The match was a test of endurance for Northpole, who demonstrated remarkable experience and composure under pressure. Key contributions came from Ilisoni Lolaivalu and Ratu Apenisa Anare, whose goals proved decisive in allowing Northpole to continue their title defense and advance to the championship decider.

In another highly competitive match earlier yesterday, 4R FC managed to edge past Suva’s Combine FC with a narrow 2-1 victory. The stakes were high, as 4R FC only needed a draw to progress, while Combine FC was in dire need of an outright win to keep their championship hopes alive. Despite a valiant effort from Combine FC, 4R FC executed their strategy effectively, securing all three points.

The much-anticipated final between Northpole FC and 4R FC is set to kick off at 1 PM today at the Fiji Football Association Academy Ground in Vatuwaqa, Suva. With both teams in strong form, fans can expect an exciting clash as they vie for the championship title.
