Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) courses are set to be introduced at Adi Maopa Secondary School in Vanuabalavu, Lau, providing valuable opportunities for students in the region. This important development was announced by Education Minister Aseri Radrodro during his recent visit to the area, his first engagement with this remote community in many years.
During his visit, Minister Radrodro engaged with local leaders, parents, and teachers, emphasizing the vital role that families play in their children’s education. He encouraged parents to not only ensure their children attend school but also to be actively involved in their learning processes. “Parents are their children’s first teachers, and their involvement is crucial for educational success,” he stated.
