Colonel Eko Pur Indriyanto, the newly appointed Indonesian defence attaché to Fiji, recently made a courtesy visit to Major-General Ro Jone Kalouniwai, the Commander of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces. The meeting took place on December 11, 2024, at the Strategic Headquarters in Berkley Crescent. Upon his arrival, Col Indriyanto was honored with a quarter guard, signifying respect and protocol in military traditions.

Following the meeting with Major-General Kalouniwai, Col Indriyanto also visited Brigadier General Onisivoro Covunisaqa, the Commander of Land Forces, at Queen Elizabeth Barracks in Nabua. This visit represents his initial engagement since taking on the important role of Indonesian Defence Attaché to Fiji.

This visit highlights the strengthening of military ties and cooperation between Indonesia and Fiji, fostering mutual understanding and collaboration in defense matters.
