A new champion will be decided today in the Girls Division of the Fiji FA Fiji Primary Schools Inter-District Championship, as the defending champions, Ba, have been eliminated in the semifinals. Ba faced a narrow defeat, losing 1-0 to Bua in a closely contested match at Subrail Park.
In the other semifinal, Labasa secured their place in the final with a dramatic win, edging out Dreketi in a penalty shootout after the match ended in a 0-0 draw after both normal and extra time, ultimately triumphing 4-3 on penalties.
