A new indoor children’s play centre named TrueKids Playground has been inaugurated by Grace Road Group in Navua, representing a $7 million investment. The facility opened its doors over the weekend, creating numerous job opportunities for local residents.
Grace Park, an executive with Grace Road Group, expressed excitement about the long-planned project, highlighting that this facility is distinct from their previous developments. “This kind of indoor playground is designed to provide a safe and fun environment for the whole family,” Ms. Park remarked, emphasizing an inclusive experience rather than merely a commercial food venue.
The playground allows children to explore and play while parents can relax at an on-site café, enjoying meals or coffee with a clear view of their youngsters. This venture is the largest of its kind for the group, eclipsing smaller indoor playgrounds already established in Veisari and Nausori, which are a fraction of the size. TrueKids Playground covers over 1,000 square meters and includes an impressive array of amenities like 11 slides, a jungle gym, and a trampoline, accommodating children from toddlers to those under 160 centimeters tall.
Operating hours include four sessions on weekends, each lasting two and a half hours, starting at 9 AM, while three sessions are scheduled on weekdays beginning from midday. This creation not only offers entertainment for families but also contributes positively to the local economy through job creation and enhanced community engagement.
