Filipo Nakosi, the former FIJI Water Flying Fijians winger, has officially left French club Vannes after an 18-month stint. The 33-year-old, who also happens to be the brother of Racing 92 center Josua Tuisova, joined Vannes from Castres with a two-year contract, aiming to contribute during the club’s inaugural Top 14 season slated for 2024/25.
Vannes faced an early setback, getting relegated after just one season in the top division. However, the club is currently performing well, sitting eight points clear at the top of Pro D2 and actively pursuing a return to the Top 14.
During his time at Vannes, Nakosi made 17 appearances, showcasing his skills on the field. The club expressed their gratitude towards Nakosi in a statement, which noted that his departure was by mutual agreement, appreciating his commitment and professionalism.
As of now, there is no information regarding Nakosi’s next destination, but his experience and talent could offer him exciting opportunities ahead. Fans and analysts alike will be watching closely to see where the talented winger ends up next, hoping for a successful new chapter in his career.
