Nadroga Stallions Netball Team Gears Up for Super League Challenge

The Nadroga Stallions netball team is focused on enhancing their fitness as they prepare for next weekend’s FinanceHub Super League match.

This weekend, the competition is paused.

Nadroga coach Asinate Korovulavula shared with SUNsports yesterday that the players have been running on the beach and will soon shift to the court to refine their skills.

“We have learned from our weaknesses and have concentrated on improving them during training,” she said.

“We need to enhance our ball handling and court work.”

Korovulavula mentioned the challenge of having players come to train at Lawaqa Park since many reside in villages.

“The girls still manage to attend training, and the feedback from them is always positive,” she noted.

“Even though it’s a break, we maintain our momentum as the players aim for better results in the upcoming games.”

She also stated that the competition has been intense after four rounds.

“All the teams always prepare to emerge as winners at the end of the game. We are fighting hard to advance to a higher level.

“We are eager to perform better after the break despite the challenges we’ve faced. The players did not miss a day of training this week. We cannot afford to miss training as every team strives to win at the end of each game. We are looking forward to our upcoming matches.”
