Nadi has advanced to the semifinals of the Rams Group of Companies 10th Sanatan World Cup after a nail-biting 2-1 victory over NZ Ba in the final quarterfinal match held at the Blacktown Spartan Sporting Complex.
NZ Ba took an early lead with a composed finish from Arnav Naicker in the first half. However, Nadi’s Nilkash Prasad equalized just before halftime. In the closing moments of the match, Nadi increased the pressure and successfully netted a second goal, courtesy of Darryl Narayan’s right foot.
