Fiji Airports recently achieved recognition at the Pacific Area Travel Writers Association (PATWA) International Travel Awards 2026 held in Berlin, Germany. Nadi International Airport earned the title of Best Airport in the South Pacific Islands, and Fiji Airports’ Chief Executive Officer, Mesake Nawari, was honored with the prestigious PATWA Gold Award for Excellence in Leadership in Airports for the South Pacific Islands.
The PATWA International Travel Awards celebrate exceptional contributions to tourism promotion and leadership within the global travel and aviation sector. The awards were presented on March 4, 2026, during the PATWA World Tourism Leaders’ Summit, with the Secretary General of PATWA, Yatan Ahluwalia, handing out the honors.
