World Food Day is recognized annually on October 16, and this year, the Nadi Medical Sub-Division marked the occasion with the launch of the Nadi Hospital Cookbook. Sub-Divisional Medical Officer Dr. Amos Zibran emphasized that the cookbook aims to provide patients with nutritious and balanced meals that can aid in their recovery and enhance their overall well-being. He underscored the vital importance of a proper diet in the healing process.
In conjunction with this, the team also observed World Mental Health Day, which took place on October 10, by raising awareness about the significance of maintaining good mental health in the workplace. The theme for this year focused on “Mental Health in the Workplace.”
