World Food Day is recognized every year on October 16.

To mark this occasion, the Nadi Medical Sub-Division has officially introduced the Nadi Hospital Cookbook.

Dr. Amos Zibran, the Sub-Divisional Medical Officer, underscored the importance of the cookbook, stating that it will offer patients nutritious and balanced meals to aid in their recovery and enhance their overall health.

He emphasized the vital role that a healthy diet plays in the healing process.

Additionally, the team observed World Mental Health Day by raising awareness about the significance of maintaining good mental health in the workplace.

This year’s global focus is on “Mental Health in the Workplace.”

World Mental Health Day is celebrated every year on October 10.
