Nadi Football’s Rising Confidence: Will They Maintain Momentum?

Nadi Football coach Raj Dayal is optimistic about his team’s performance in the Extra Premier League following their recent 2-0 victory over Nadroga at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka. This win highlights Nadi’s capability and readiness to improve further throughout the season.

Coach Dayal acknowledged that the win wasn’t easily achieved, as Nadroga provided a solid challenge. He noted, “We had the fitness level that was needed on the field and we outnumbered them in the second half. We have to be better for the next game.” Looking ahead, he expressed the importance of maintaining focus and working hard to secure three points in their upcoming match against Nasinu, emphasizing the mantra of taking it one game at a time.

Training is set to commence tomorrow as the team prepares for their clash with Nasinu this Sunday at Prince Charles Park in Nadi, with the match time still to be confirmed.

This victory against Nadroga adds to Nadi’s recent success, following their notable 3-0 win over Tavua FC in which fresh talent made a significant impact. Nadi’s growing confidence and momentum could set them up for a more competitive season in the Extra Premier League.

As fans look forward to upcoming matches, there is a hopeful atmosphere around the team, suggesting that Nadi may continue to build on their recent successes and solidify their presence in the league.
