Nadi football team is currently enjoying a successful run in the Extra Premier League, holding second place in the standings with six points after their impressive start to the season. The team has demonstrated remarkable discipline on the field, receiving only two yellow cards thus far, attributed to players Mohammad Aymaan and Beniaminio Lebatavatava.

Head coach Raj Dayal has credited this success to the team’s strong discipline and a relentless drive for improvement. “This is a crucial match for us. Nasinu is a good side; they have performed well in the last two games. But our boys have been working hard to bring home the three points,” Dayal remarked as the team prepares for their next challenge against Nasinu, set to take place at Prince Charles Park on Sunday at 3 pm.

In enhancing their performance, Nadi’s coaching staff is focused on improving the team’s finishing skills and strengthening their midfield. The excitement among fans is palpable, and Dayal is optimistic about the support the team will receive during the home match.

Additionally, while Nadi takes on Nasinu, other matches scheduled for Sunday include Suva facing Nadroga at HFC Bank Stadium and Navua clashing with Labasa at Uprising Sports Center, both kicking off at 3 pm. There’s a sense of anticipation across the league, with football enthusiasts ready to enjoy the live commentary for these matches, particularly the clash between Navua and Nadroga on Radio Fiji Two.

This hopeful outlook reflects a strong commitment from Nadi to build on their recent successes and aims for even greater achievements in the league. With a positive atmosphere surrounding the team, fans can expect an invigorating journey ahead in the Premier League season.
