A woman is searching for answers following the recent deaths of her parents, whose bodies were discovered in their backyard at approximately 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the deaths of the elderly couple. Reeta Swamy stated that her initial information suggested her parents may have taken their own lives.
“We do not know when it happened or the reasons behind it,” she shared. Ms. Swamy mentioned that she and her family were not at home when the incident allegedly occurred.
“We are waiting for the police to release further information on this matter,” she added.
Ms. Swamy expressed disbelief over her father’s tragic death, highlighting that he had been in good health. “My mother was sick, but my father was well. He seemed happy just days before his passing,” she remarked.
The police confirmed that the Criminal Investigation Department is continuing its inquiry. They indicated that a post-mortem examination will be conducted to establish the precise cause of death.
