A 24-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy face murder charges in the death of a 33-year-old taxi driver. This incident is detailed in the latest statistics on serious non-sexual violence offenses released by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions for November.
The pair has also been charged with aggravated robbery, as they allegedly stole various items from the victim while assaulting him, which led to his untimely death by punching and strangulation.
Throughout November, a total of 21 individuals were charged, resulting in 27 counts of non-sexual violence offenses. This includes two murder charges, one attempted murder, and various other crimes such as aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, and theft. Notably, there were 13 victims among these offenses.
