A passenger was transported to Labasa Hospital after a vehicle accident occurred in Buca, Savusavu on Sunday. The car veered off the road and collided with a house. According to Acting Divisional Police Commander North, Superintendent of Police Eroni Soqosoqo, the driver along with two passengers were taken to Savusavu Subdivisional Hospital following the early morning incident.

SP Soqosoqo reported that the driver and one passenger received treatment and were later discharged, while another passenger was referred to Labasa Hospital for additional medical care. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported from the occupants of the house.

Police were at the scene to provide assistance to those affected by the accident.

This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of road safety and vigilance while driving. It is fortunate that no one at the house sustained injuries, which highlights the need for timely response and support from emergency services.
