Melbourne secured a convincing 4-0 victory over Sigatoka in their final pool match of the Rams Group of Companies 10th Sanatan World Cup in Sydney, keeping their hopes of reaching the top 16 alive.

Following a 2-1 defeat to Wellington earlier in the day, Melbourne raised their performance, with goals scored by Vinayak Rao, Nikil Ram, and two from Nickhil Kumar, marking their second win in the tournament.

With a total of 7 points, Melbourne now awaits the results of the remaining matches in Group C to determine their fate.

In other games, Sydney Ba drew 1-1 against Ulusila, NZ Ba triumphed over Nakasi with a 1-0 win, and Wellington City defeated Melbourne 2-1.
