Melania Tora, an ambitious 24-year-old contestant in the 2024 Miss Hibiscus competition, aspires to establish a rehabilitation center in Fiji that provides free mental health care and support to those in need. Currently representing Tents & Awnings, she is pursuing a master’s degree in psychology at The University of the South Pacific after graduating with distinction with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Deakin University in Australia. Melania also holds a Diploma in Arts and Psychology from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand, positioning her on a path to becoming a clinical psychologist.

In addition to her academic endeavors, Melania enjoys listening to music and podcasts, exercising at the gym, and socializing with friends. Her commitment to enhancing mental health services in Fiji makes her a notable contestant in this year’s festival, which celebrates talent, culture, and community spirit.
