Radisson Hotel Group has signed an agreement to bring Mana Island Resort & Spa Fiji into its Radisson Individuals portfolio, announcing a full refurbishment of the Mamanuca Islands property with a target reopening in late 2027. The move expands Radisson’s presence in Fiji and signals a repositioning of the resort for wider international markets under a globally recognised brand family.

The beachfront resort, reachable by boat from Port Denarau Marina or by seaplane from Nadi International Airport, comprises 160 rooms. Radisson said the redevelopment will deliver upgraded guest rooms, new suites and beachfront villas, enhanced dining options, additional swimming pools, improved wellness facilities and other amenity upgrades aimed at delivering a broader offering for couples, families and groups.

Danilo Curcuruto, Radisson Hotel Group’s Australasia Development Director, described Fiji as central to the company’s regional growth plans. “Fiji remains one of the South Pacific’s most desirable resort destinations, and Mana Island is one of its most iconic island locations,” Curcuruto said, welcoming the property into the Radisson Individuals portfolio. He said the signing “reflects our continued focus on expanding our resort footprint in high‑potential leisure destinations while offering owners flexible brand solutions that preserve a property’s unique identity and unlock the power of Radisson’s global reach.”

Owner Hiro Osuka said the partnership with Radisson Individuals will help reposition Mana Island Resort & Spa Fiji on the international stage. He welcomed the alignment with Radisson’s distribution channels and loyalty programmes as tools to broaden the resort’s reach while maintaining its distinct character in the competitive South Pacific leisure market.

Mana Island will become Radisson’s third branded resort in Fiji, joining the established Radisson Blu Resort Fiji Denarau Island and the Radisson Blu Mirage Resort Fiji on Naisoso Island, the latter currently under development. The signing follows a recent Radisson agreement in Samoa and underscores the group’s ongoing push to grow its Pacific footprint.

For Mana Island, the deal ties a long-standing Mamanuca resort to an international operator at a time when Fiji continues to recover and rebuild its tourism offering after pandemic-era disruptions. With refurbishment work slated to conclude by late 2027, the project sets a clear timeline for owners, local suppliers and the travel trade to prepare for the resort’s relaunch under the Radisson Individuals banner.
