Fiji Bati winger Maika Sivo has received permission from the Parramatta Eels to terminate his contract for the 2025 season, allowing him to explore new career opportunities.
The NRL club acknowledged Sivo’s contributions in a statement, noting, “Maika has been an integral part of our Club since joining in 2019 when he finished as the top try scorer in the NRL. Over his 115 NRL games with the Club, he has brought excitement, power, and has become a fan favourite with the Blue and Gold Army; we thank him for his dedication and service to the Eels.”
Parramatta Eels General Manager of Football Mark O’Neill expressed gratitude on behalf of the club, stating, “We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Maika, his partner Korina, and his family for their time with us. We wish them all the very best in their future endeavors, both in rugby league and beyond.”
O’Neill added, “Maika will always be a part of the Eels family, and we look forward to seeing him succeed in the next chapter of his career.”
