On May 29, 2020, Pauliasi proposed in a memorable flight experience, crafting a mock emergency during their time in a Cessna 172 to surprise Jemima joyfully. After a delay due to border restrictions, they finally celebrated their wedding, which beautifully integrated traditional Fijian customs with modern touches, honoring their families and cultural heritage through an i tataunaki ceremony that acknowledged significant family contributions.

As they step into married life, the couple eagerly anticipates the arrival of their second child. They are committed to nurturing their spiritual growth and supporting each other as a family while actively engaging in community initiatives.
