Fiji’s cruiserweight boxer, Sebastian “The Sniper” Singh, is feeling optimistic and prepared for his upcoming fight for the IBO Asia Pacific Cruiserweight title against Tonga’s King Tonga Tongotongo, organized by South Pacific Boxing Promotion.
Singh remains unfazed by the challenging competition, stating that he does not feel any undue pressure as the fight approaches. While he admits to experiencing some nerves, he draws motivation from the chance to compete in front of his local fans, particularly the children he mentors.
Both Singh and his team have been diligently training in anticipation of the match, and he is eager to enter the ring. “We have been training hard; it’s fight week now, and I’m looking forward to jumping into the ring,” Singh expressed.
He recognizes the difficulty of the matchup but is confident that the effort they’ve put in will pay off come fight night. “I understand what I’m facing; I have a tough fight ahead of me, and I respect the commitment our team has shown. With any luck, we will leave the ring victorious.”
Having faced strong opponents in the past, Singh is assured of his ability to perform under pressure. “I’ve been in big fights before; the nerves come from competing against such formidable opponents. I just can’t wait to get in the ring and do my job.”
Drawing on his experience from fighting internationally, Singh is keen to display his skills and determination in front of his supporters.
