The Blue Gas Lilian Amazon Women’s 7s team is gearing up for a challenging two-day tournament at the Fiji Bitter Yasawa 7s, which commences today at Churchill Park in Lautoka. Coming off a victory at the Fiji Bitter Malake 7s in Ra, the Lilians are fully aware of the tough competition that lies ahead in this weekend’s event.

Head coach Tirani Uluinakauvadra remains optimistic about the team’s prospects, emphasizing their commitment to player development despite the absence of several key players who are currently with the national sevens team. “We’ve got a young group of girls representing our club. Many of our experienced players are away, but that won’t take away from our focus on development,” Uluinakauvadra remarked.
