Likuliku Lagoon Resort is set to undergo major revitalization projects in 2025.
Ahura Resorts, the Fijian family-owned management company of the resort, has confirmed that it will close from February 1 to April 30, 2025 to accommodate these changes.
“We are investing FJ$10 million to enhance and elevate the product offerings and guest experiences of Likuliku. The results of this investment will solidify our existing reputation as one of Fiji’s iconic and renowned luxury resorts,” said Tony Whitton, resort owner and Ahura Resorts managing director.
Guests will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to re-book to alternative dates during this period. The revamp will include the following:
– A refresh of all bures, including adding private plunge pools to 11 beachfront bures, increasing the Deluxe Beachfront Bure category from 18 to 29 bures.
– The completion of the environmentally-friendly synthetic roof thatching project on the remaining beachfront and deluxe beachfront bures on the eastern side of the resort.
– A refurbishment of the signature main pool.
– The addition of a new restaurant concept offering an alternative evening dining experience to the existing signature Fijiana restaurant, expanding the overall dining options to three outlets.
Introducing Saluwaki
Saluwaki, the iTaukei word for a collection of indigenous herbs and spices, will present Pan-Asian dishes with a focus on local ingredients from the land and sea.
The addition of the na Vanua Conservation Hub, in conjunction with the Ahura Resorts Conservation Foundation, will provide guests with a journey of discovery. A progressive set of activities will incorporate key conservation projects underway at the resort.
Ahura Resorts manages two of Fiji’s most popular, award-winning, and iconic resorts: Malolo Island Resort for families, and the luxury escape for adults-only that features Fiji’s first and only authentic over-water bures, Likuliku Lagoon Resort.
