The Leader of the People’s Alliance Party, Sitiveni Rabuka, has announced that General Secretary Usaia Waqatairewa is resigning from his post. Rabuka pointed to Waqatairewa’s lack of efficiency as a party official and expressed plans to propose Waqatairewa’s dismissal at the upcoming Management Board Committee Meeting.
