Lautoka Women’s FC has secured promotion to the Fiji FA Women’s Super League 2026 after a thrilling 1–0 victory over Nasinu Women’s FC in a crucial playoff match. The game, held at the Fiji FA Academy Ground in Vatuwaqa, was a tightly contested affair, with both teams showcasing strong defensive and attacking strategies.

Despite Nasinu’s disciplined defensive play, which managed to thwart Lautoka’s offensive attempts for most of the match, the breakthrough came late in the second half. In the 88th minute, Titilia Latui emerged as the hero for Lautoka, scoring the decisive goal just moments before the match could have proceeded into extra time. Her timely strike not only lifted her teammates but also set off jubilant celebrations among Lautoka’s supporters.

This victory marks a significant milestone for Lautoka Women’s FC, confirming their place in the top tier of women’s football for the upcoming season. With their promotion, they will take the position of Tailevu Naitasiri Women’s FC in the Fiji FA Women’s Super League, preparing to face some of the best teams in the country in 2026. This achievement reflects the hard work and determination of the Lautoka squad and sets a hopeful tone for their future in the league.
