Labasa head coach Ravneel Pratap is focused on boosting team morale in preparation for the Round 14 DFPL match against T/Naitasiri, with the intent to continue their home winning streak. Pratap acknowledged that the team’s confidence dipped following a 4-2 defeat to Lautoka in Round 13.
“The morale has dropped after the game against Lautoka, so it’s crucial to get the boys focused and prepared, especially since we’re playing at home. We have not lost any DFPL matches this season at Subrail Park, and we aim to keep that record intact,” Pratap stated.
He emphasized that Labasa’s primary objective is to improve their defense, an area that proved problematic during the Battle of the Giants tournament. “The boys are eager to score goals, but they sometimes neglect to protect their own goal, and that’s where they get caught out,” he remarked.
