Labasa U14 Claims Thrilling Victory at Fiji IDC Championships!

Host Labasa secured the U14 title at the 2024 Fiji Primary Schools Inter District Championship (IDC) held at Subrail Park yesterday. Coached by Sachin Deo, the team triumphed over Nadi with a score of 1-0, thanks to a decisive goal from striker Solomone Driver in the second half. This victory was particularly meaningful for the young players, as they had been eliminated in the semifinals the previous year. It also marks a celebratory moment coinciding with the main district team’s recent IDC success in Lautoka. In the Girls Division, the title remained in the North, with Bua emerging victorious over Labasa in a nail-biting penalty shootout, winning 2-1.
