Host Labasa has secured the U14 title at the 2024 Fiji Primary Schools Inter District Championship (IDC) held at Subrail Park. The team, coached by Sachin Deo, triumphed over Nadi 1-0 in an exciting final, with striker Solomone Driver netting the decisive goal in the second half. This victory is especially meaningful for the young players, as they had faced disappointment in last year’s semifinals. Additionally, it coincides with the main district team’s recent IDC win in Lautoka. In other news, the Girls Division title was claimed by Bua, who defeated Labasa 2-1 in a penalty shootout following a closely fought match.
