Labasa will be without three of their crucial players for the Digicel Fiji Premier League Round 14 match against T/Naitasiri at Subrail Park on Saturday. Veteran utility player Taniela Waqa is sidelined with a knee injury, while captain Christopher Wasasala and Akeimi Ralulu are both suspended after receiving two yellow cards.
Coach Ravneel Pratap acknowledged the challenges ahead, particularly as T/Naitasiri aims to improve their position and escape the relegation zone. “We know Naitasiri will come prepared. They’re fighting to get out of the relegation zone, and we’re fighting to climb up the ladder,” Pratap stated.
He expressed hopes for an exciting match and emphasized the team’s desire to perform well at home. With the absence of key players, Labasa will need to rally together to achieve a win in front of their supporters. The match is set to commence at 1.30pm.
