Labasa Aims to Bounce Back: Can They Keep Their Home Winning Streak Alive?

Labasa’s head coach, Ravneel Pratap, is focused on boosting his team’s morale ahead of their upcoming Round 14 DFPL match against T/Naitasiri, with the goal of preserving their unbeaten home record.

In an interview, Pratap acknowledged that the team’s confidence suffered following a 4-2 defeat against Lautoka in Round 13. He emphasized the need to refocus the players, particularly as they gear up for a home game. “The morale has gone down after the game against Lautoka, so it’s important to get the boys focused and ready, especially when we’re playing at home. We haven’t lost any DFPL matches this season at Subrail Park, and we hope to maintain that,” he stated.

Pratap also pointed out that enhancing the team’s defensive strategy is a priority, as it had been a vulnerable aspect during the Battle of the Giants tournament. “The boys are eager to score goals, but they forget to defend their own goalmouth, and that’s where they get punished,” he noted.
