The overconsumption of kava was a key topic at the World Methodist Church Evangelism seminar held in Suva over the past week. Rev. Immanuel Reuben highlighted concerns regarding this issue and the growing number of believers departing from the church. He announced plans for additional evangelism programs set for 2025 to tackle these challenges.

The seminar attracted approximately 200 participants from across Fiji and the Pacific region, running during the day since Monday. In the evenings, around 1,000 attendees gathered for the night crusades. The event is concluding today.
