BULA FC has officially announced the appointment of Joshua Raj as its new Strength and Conditioning Coach. Raj, who recently arrived in Fiji, has already begun working closely with the team in preparation for the upcoming OFC Pro League season.
Originating from India, Raj brings with him over seven years of experience in high-performance fitness, having worked with athletes in India, the Middle East, and Europe. His impressive resume includes a significant role as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Indian Football Federation, where he supported the men’s, women’s, and age-group national teams. Additionally, he served as the Performance Coach for Malappuram FC in the Kerala Super League, a team notable for featuring Fijian star Roy Krishna as a marquee player last season.
Raj has further honed his skills at Rapidsport Fitness Center, a leading sports fitness brand in India. He expressed his enthusiasm for joining Bula FC, stating, “I’m grateful and excited for this opportunity. The team has great potential with a blend of young talents and experienced players. The diverse backgrounds of foreign players and staff bring valuable culture and expertise, which will enhance the team’s performance as we head into the competition. I’m confident we are all on the same page and ready for the challenge.”
