Flying Fijian Joji Nasova is set to make his mark in England after signing a two-year contract with Newcastle Red Bulls to compete in the English Premiership Rugby competition. The talented player from Ba will continue to represent the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua for the remainder of the current season before making his transition to Newcastle in 2027.

Nasova gained international recognition after his selection for the national team during the Hong Kong Sevens in the 2023–2024 season. His outstanding performances contributed significantly to Fiji’s remarkable silver medal finish at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Following this achievement, he made a memorable debut for the Flying Fijians in last year’s Pacific Nations Cup final against Japan, where he not only showcased his skills but was also awarded Player of the Match for his exceptional performance.

With a promising future ahead, Nasova’s move to Newcastle Red Bulls signifies another step in his growing career, and fans are eager to see how he will further develop his talents on the international stage.
